Frontier Airlines is to add new year-round, nonstop service between Orlando, FL (MCO) and Bloomington/Normal, IL (BMI) and increase its existing service between Orlando and Madison, WI (MSN) from seasonal to year-round.
The latter route will also upgauge the aircraft used on the route from a 99-seat Embraer 190 to a 138-seat Airbus A319, while the former will begin with A319s.
The Bloomington/Normal service, which will operate three days each week, begins on 25 May, while the shift to year-round, twice-weekly service to Madison will launch on 27 May.
The news of the two new routes shortly after the announcement of new year-round, nonstop service between Orlando and both Allentown, PA, and Harrisburg, PA.
