Etihad Regional’s 2015 summer schedule will consist of flights to 28 year-round destinations along with 9 seasonal leisure routes, forming a network that spans 12 European countries.
The schedule, which commences on 29 March 2015, will be operated by the airline’s fleet of 8 Saab 2000 turboprop aircraft and 4 ATR 72-500s.
New year-round routes include thrice-weekly services between Brussels and Dresden and Brussels and Leipzig, and a four times weekly service between Copenhagen and Dresden. The airline also plans to expand its presence in the Swiss market, offering flights from its Zurich-based hub to Prague, Venice and Pristina.
The only new leisure route being operated out of Zurich will fly to Palma de Majorca twice a week, whilst Geneva will begin two services to Corsica, from which Etihad Regional will fly once a week to Figari and twice a week to Calvi.
“The new schedule will offer our guests a total of 492 weekly flights from 28 existing routes and nine new year-round and seasonal services to important countries in our network as Denmark, Belgium, Czech Republic and Kosovo,” commented Maurizio Merlo, Etihad Regional’s CEO. “We will continue to explore and add new destinations to our growing network where we see sustained passenger demand, strengthening both our leisure and business offering.”
