Boet Kreiken, managing director of KLM Cityhopper, has been elected president of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA), succeeding Brit Air CEO, Marc Lamidey.
In other elections, Martin Isler, member of the executive management board of the Luxair Group, has been re-elected vice-president of ERA, while Laurent Pierre from Snecma takes up an Associate 1 position on the ERA board, Tony Whitty from Cabot Aviation joins the board’s Affiliate Category II and Bernard Lavelle from London City Airport has been elected in Associate Category III.
Simon McNamara, director general of ERA, commented, “I am delighted to welcome a number of new board members to ERA and, in particular, Boet Kreiken as the association’s new president. I am very much looking forwards to working with Boet and other board members as we implement ERA’s future strategy.”
