Eastern Airways has entrusted BAE Systems with an exclusive mandate to re-market for sale or lease six of its Jetstream 41 fleet.
Current market conditions have led Eastern to review its fleet plan and the carrier feels it is able to release the aforementioned amount of Jetstream 41 capacity.
With the recent lease extensions secured by BAE Systems on two Jetstream 41s with South African airline Airlink, its own Jetstream 41 portfolio is fully contracted. The company is therefore able to give its full attention to the placement of these aircraft.
Eastern Airways currently has 21Jetstream 41s in its inventory – the largest fleet operator of the aircraft in the world.
