EngineStands24, a subsidiary of Magnetic MRO, has launched a new engine stands hub in Dubai, UAE, in co-operation with an Emirati aviation company, Chabok Aviation.

The official launch for the new hub took place during the MRO Middle East event on 11 February.

“Without doubt, Dubai is a strategic location for us, since it is situated at the heart of one of the largest aviation markets,” said Daiva Žemaite, the head of EngineStands24. “It is also an important step for both Magnetic MRO and EngineStands24, as we keep expanding into the Middle Eastern MRO market.”

The new hub will store stands for narrowbody aircraft engines, including those for CFM56-5A/B, CFM56-7B and V2500. The warehouse will also be supplemented with a range of wide-body aircraft engine stands in the near future.

The company expect its new hub, situated near Al Maktoum International Airport, will be able to deliver engine stands to major world locations within a few days or even hours.

EngineStands24 is launching its Emirates hub in co-operation with Chabok Aviation, a Dubai-based supplier of aircraft parts and components.

“We are delighted to be selected by EngineStands24 as their local partner. It is a significant and very promising step, as it will allow both our companies to further expand the range of services and offer higher convenience to local and global customers,” said Dean Entekabi, the managing director of Chabok Aviation.

EngineStands24 announced its plans to launch a new engine stands’ logistics centre in Dubai back in November 2018.
