Embraer has reported that it during the first quarter of 2016, it delivered 21 E-Jets – 19 E175s and two E195s – to the commercial aviation market.
The quarter’s highlight was the rollout of the E190-E2, the first model of the second generation of the E-Jets family of commercial aircraft. In addition, during 1Q16 Austrian Airlines began E-Jet operations with pre-owned aircraft.
The firm order backlog at the end of March 2016 stood at 492 E-Jets. That figure was made up of three E170s, 150 E175s, 55 E190s and 17 E195s plus 100 E175-E2s, 77 E190-E2s and 90 E195-E2s.
