During the first quarter of 2014 (1Q14), Embraer delivered 14 aircraft to the commercial aviation market.
The company also delivered 20 business aircraft, for a total of 34 aircraft in 1Q14, compared with 29 aircraft delivered in 1Q13. On 31 March 2014, the firm order backlog was worth $19.2 billion, an increase of $1 billion over the position at 31 December 2013.
The E-Jet delivery breakdown in 1Q14 was one E170, eight E175s, four E190s and one E195.
The backlog for the first quarter of 2014 includes a firm order for 50 E-Jet E2 aircraft from Air Costa, made up of 25 E190-E2s and 25 E195-E2s.
The E-Jets firm order backlog at 31 March 2014 comprised no E170s, 180 E175s, 68 E190s and 16 E195s, as well as 100 E175-E2s, 50 E190-E2s and 50 E195-E2. The total backlog at the end of 1Q14 was therefore 464 E-Jet family aircraft.
