Egyptair Maintenance & Engineering (EGME) and A J Walter Aviation have announced a working partnership to support the newly-established Air Arabia Egypt fleet of A320s.
AJW is providing spares leasing and power-by-the-hour-type support. The company says it is well positioned to fully support EGME from its UK base close to Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
EGME currently supports over 70 airlines including the airline, cargo and express operations of Egyptair. In recent months EGME has renewed its EASA approval and signed a joint venture with Rolls-Royce to establish Egypt Aero Management Services (EAMS).
Air Arabia Egypt is jointly owned by parent company Air Arabia in Sharjah and the Travco Group, Egypt’s largest tourism company.
