The EDM Group has bought fellow UK company RP Aero Systems, with the acquisition to enable the latter to have better access to larger geographical markets, additional customers and greater resources.
Being part of the larger training specialist’s group will also give RP Aero Systems access to EDM’s In-Service Support department, allowing it to offer worldwide support to its customers. RP Aero Systems founder Stephen Foster said, “This combination will create a strong global business with the financial and technical resources to service our customers and to deliver key product innovations.”
RP Aero Systems will continue to operate its brand, with its manufacturing and customer support to continue out of its Littlehampton facility in the UK.
EDM managing director, Tony Bermingham, said RP Aero Systems had “a superb reputation in the industry for quality products and will complement EDM’s business seamlessly.”
