easyJet’s traffic figures for 2015 show a 0.2 percentage point increase in load factor from 90.7% in February 2014 to 90.9% in February this year.
The figure remains marginal despite an increase in passenger numbers from 4,491,425 to 4,232,325 across the respective periods, equating to a rise of 6.1%.
The airline also released figures for the rolling load factor and passenger numbers for the twelve months ending 28 February 2015, during which time there was a similar passenger increase of 6.5%. The load factor over those twelve months, however, increased by 1.4 percentage points from 89.4% in the 12 months to 28 February 2014 to 90.8%.
