easyJet has reported a 5.7% increase in passenger numbers from 6,490,974 in May 2015 to 6,861,040 in the same month this year.
The airline’s load factor dropped by 0.1 percentage points from 91.6% to 91.5% across the same respective periods.
During May 2016, easyJet reported 173 cancellations for the month, with French ATC strikes and weather conditions accounting for the majority.
For the rolling 12 months ending in May 2016, easyJet has seen a 7.3% increase in passengers from 66,646,475 to 71,495,087 year-over-year and a 0.2 percentage point load factor increase from 91.2% to 91.4%.
