Following the announcement of new services from Bristol to Gibraltar, Porto, Lanzarote and Catania in October, easyJet has now added another three new routes to its portfolio at the airport – Bilbao, Isle of Man and Zante.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK commercial manager, stated, “We’re absolutely thrilled to add Bilbao, Isle of Man and Zante to our Bristol operations. Whether our customers want to marvel at Bilbao’s striking architecture, soak up the sun on Zante’s pristine beaches or wander the unspoilt hills and valleys on the Isle of Man, we’re confident that our new routes will be popular.
“easyJet now flies to 53 destinations from Bristol – more than any other airline from the airport. We’re committed to making it easy and affordable for our customers to travel, and our growth at Bristol has made it simpler for people in the surrounding areas to fly directly into Europe’s top airports, with no need for stop-offs or additional fuss.”
The year-round services to Bilbao (twice weekly) and Isle of Man (four times weekly) will begin on 19 April next year, whilst the summer service to Zante will begin flying on Wednesdays from 13 May 2015.In total, easyJet will add seven new destinations to its Bristol operations next summer as part of its five-year agreement with Bristol Airport for continued growth. A twelfth aircraft will also be located at the base in summer 2015.
