easyJet has reported its passenger and load factor data for August 2010 and the 12 month rolling period to the end of that month
The number of passengers carried in August totalled 5,203,165 compared with 4,800,336 last August, an 8.4% increase. The respective monthly load factors were 92.3% and 91.8%, a 0.5 percentage point increase.
In the rolling 12 months ending 31 August 2010,easyJet carried 48,401,396 passengers compared with 44,939,901 carried in the 12 months to the end of August 2009, a 7.7% increase. There was a 1.5 pp increase in load factor for the more recent period, the figure standing at 86.9% compared with 85.4% for the 12 months ending 31 August 2009.
