In response to considerable interest since Scoot’s announcement of flights to Perth on 15 October, the airline has announced that its inaugural flight on the route will be advanced by one week from 19 December and will now operate four additional flights starting on 12 December.
Campbell Wilson, CEO of Scoot, explained, “Barely a week into sales of our Perth route we’ve been overwhelmed by the response – so much so that we’re adding extra flights to cater to demand. It reaffirms our belief in Singaporeans’ love for Western Australia, and West Australians’ passion for travel.”
Scoot is to operate five times a week between Singapore and Perth, with its widebody Boeing 777-200s. Flights from Singapore to Perth will leave Changi Airport at 12:50 and touch down in Perth at 18:20. In the opposite direction, take off is at 19:30, with arrival back at Changi at 00:45 the following day (all times local).
