Darwin Airline has selected Volga-Dnepr Technics (VDT) to provide aircraft technical assistance and maintenance support for its fleet of Saab 2000s, with the work scheduled to be carried out at VDT’s facility at Leipzig Halle Airport.
The contract provides for the use of Volga-Dnepr Technics’ hangar facilities and equipment by Darwin Airline MRO to carry out maintenance checks on the aircraft as well as the provision of supporting personnel from VDT GmbH.
The agreement also includes a provision for Volga-Dnepr Technics to respond in AOG situations if it is compatible with VDT GmbH certification approvals. Volga-Dnepr Technics is also leasing office and warehouse areas to Darwin Airline.
