Corendon Airlines to expand fleet

Following the addition of a new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft to its fleet in May, the Turkish leisure carrier Corendon Airlines has signed a new agreement for the delivery of three more Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

Two aircraft, to be produced in the Boeing factory in Seattle will be delivered in 2019 and the third aircraft will follow in 2020.

Y?ld?ray Karaer, Corendon Airlines CEO and co-founder said Corendon Airlines will continue to expand and rejuvenate its fleet and to add more aircraft of the MAX 8 series to its fleet in line with efficiency and environment strategy.

“We are pleased that we were able to expand our fleet with a 737 MAX 8 aircraft, equipped by Boeing in a very special way. Due to the fact that Boeing has succeeded to achieve economic fuel consumption, the operational efficiency of airlines has increased considerably. At the same time the quiet engine and the spacious cabin design will result in better flight experience and higher satisfaction of passengers. Two of the new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft will be delivered in May and June 2019 and the third one will join our fleet in May 2020 and our passengers will experience even more ease and flight comfort.”
