SkyWest, Inc. has reported October traffic figures for its wholly-owned subsidiaries, SkyWest Airlines and Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA).
The airline pair generated 1,641,541,684 revenue passenger miles (RPMs) compared with 1,498,377,345 last October, a 9.6% increase. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased by 10.8% to 2,066,197,974 from 1,864,963,854 for the respective months.
The load factor dropped by 0.9 percentage points to 79.4% compared with 80.3% in October 2009. Passenger boardings for October increased by 10.9% to 3,306,720 compared with 2,981,682 for the same period last year.
