SkyWest, Inc. has reported combined traffic figures for its SkyWest Airlines and Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) subsidiaries.
SkyWest also reported a 4.6 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for August, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 5.8 percent compared to August 2009.
The combined airlines generated 1,748,653,000 revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for the month, a 4.6% increase on 1,671,822,207 in August 2009. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased by 5.8% to 2,169,194,985 from 2,050,245,450.
The load factor for the pair was 80.6% compared to 81.5%, down 0.9 percentage points compared to August 2009. Passenger boardings for August increased by 7.9% to 3,500,779 compared to 3,245,316 for the same period last year.
