Pinnacle Airlines Corporation has released capacity and operational results for its Colgan Air subsidiary for October 2010.
The carrier generated 66,738,000 revenue passenger miles (RPMs) compared with 57,679,000 in October 2009, a 15.7% increase. Capacity, in available seat miles (ASMs) rose by 8.8% to 101,070,000 from last October’s figure of 92,920,000.
The load factor consequently increased by 3.9 percentage points to 66.0% from 62.1% for the respective periods. Passengers carried totalled 253,166 in October 2010, an increase of 8.3% on last October’s figure of 233,783.
Block hours were slightly down – by 0.6% – at 11,450 from 11,524 last October while the carrier recorded exactly the same number of departures, 9,038, in October this year and last.
