CAE, Jazz Aviation (a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation) and Seneca have team up to develop a cadet pilot training programme in Canada; ‘Jazz Approach’.
The parties have signed a five-year partnership agreement to develop the programme to provide Jazz with a pipeline of first officers. Cadets will receive a letter of employment from the airline on selection into the programme – allowing for a direct path to join the airline as first officers conditional upon successful completion of the programme.
The first cohort is set to begin training in April 2020 and under the agreement, with its partner Seneca, CAE will be assisting Jazz in the selection, training and certification of new pilots.
