Tulpar Technic, located at Kazan International Airport in Russia, has been appointed a Bombardier Aerospace Authorized Service Facility (ASF) for CRJ100 and CRJ200 regional jets, to serve operators in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Under the ASF agreement, Tulpar Technic is now authorised by Bombardier for all maintenance work on CRJ100s and CRJ200s. “Tulpar Technic is emerging as a leader in the region and will provide operators of aircraft manufactured by Bombardier with much-needed access to quality maintenance services,” noted Éric Martel, president, Bombardier Customer Services & Specialized and Amphibious Aircraft. “The Russian market is extremely important to Bombardier and our team continues to accelerate the expansion of our international services offering, here and around the world.”
Tulpar Technic employs 25 full-time maintenance technicians and is supported by an on-site co-operation agreement with Adria Airways Tehnika, a long standing CRJ ASF based in Slovenia. Tulpar Technic’s facility includes a 4,608 m2 (49,600 ft2) maintenance hangar.
