Bombardier Customer Services is to offer a repair and overhaul capability for electrical harnessing.
The company is FAA/EASA-approved to offer repair and overhaul services for 21 aircraft models. Its Belfast repair station carries out the work on harnesses for a wide range of components on Bombardier business and commercial aircraft as well as Boeing and Airbus airliners.
Repair and overhaul are offered on electrical harnesses for engines, engine exhausts, airframes, undercarriages and doors. Using the latest ultraviolet laser marking and automated testing equipment, technicians can eliminate unnecessary replacements, extend the harness life and provide significant cost savings to the operator, says the company, adding that all repairs are returned under warranty within responsive turnaround times.
