BOC Aviation has announced that it has delivered the final two of five Airbus 321neo aircraft on lease to Chinese operator Sichuan Airlines. These aircraft are powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF PW110G-JM engines, and were delivered from BOC Aviation’s existing order book.

“Sichuan Airlines is very pleased to have partnered with BOC Aviation for our latest two A321neo aircraft, as we continue to grow our network and connectivity in the region. With this latest delivery, we now have 19 A320neo family aircraft in our fleet,” said Li Haiying, chairman of Sichuan Airlines Co., Ltd. “The BOC Aviation team has continued to demonstrate strong support in fulfilling our needs for modern aircraft that reduce fuel consumption and provide an environmentally-friendly ride for our passengers.”

“We are thrilled to work with Sichuan Airlines in its fleet and network expansion plans, with the delivery of the final two of five A321neo aircraft, having received its first A321neo from us back in 2018,” said Robert Martin, MD and CEO of BOC Aviation. “We congratulate Pratt & Whitney on its 100th GTF™ engine powered A320neo family aircraft delivery in China, and look forward to building on our long-standing relationships with both Airbus and P&W as we provide our airline customers more fuel-efficient and technologically advanced aircraft solutions,” he added.
