From 16 July 2016, bmi regional will start operating a seasonal Saturday service between Bristol and Jersey until 3 September 2016.
The outbound flight will depart Bristol at 12:30 to arrive in Jersey at 13:15 before the return leg takes off from the latter at 13:45 to land back in the former at 14:30.
“Bristol is a major UK hub for us with our existing routes performing well both with business and leisure customers,” averred the airline’s CCO, Jochen Schnadt. “With our stated ambition to offer relevant products for our customers trying to evolve our product offering in line with our many loyal customers’ demands, we are delighted to be offering this seasonal service on this highly sought-after route. As customary with bmi regional, our customers will experience the usual quality, professionalism and high level of service that travellers on our existing routes have enjoyed for years.”
Shaun Browne, aviation director of Bristol Airport, added, “We are delighted with the continued expansion of bmi regional’s route network from Bristol Airport. With the introduction of the Jersey flight for the summer season to the largest of the Channel Islands, less than one hour’s flight time from Bristol offers a destination with a variety of magnificent castles, activities and events that will suit all customers.”
