In response to passenger demand, bmi regional has boosted services between Bristol and both Frankfurt and Munich ahead of its summer 2015 schedule, due to be launched in March.
Flights from Bristol to Frankfurt will operate three times a day from 2 February and continue to be codeshared with Lufthansa, offering passengers the ability to connect to destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa and America.
Two daily departures – doubling the daily frequency – will be operated from Bristol to Munich from 3 February, but the extra rotation will only operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The expansion of bmi regional’s codeshare partnership with Lufthansa will mean that passengers travelling via Munich will also be able to get home directly the same day, rather than spending an extra night travelling.
“For our Munich customers, the addition of an evening flight means that you can avoid the hassle of the ‘red eye’ early morning flights, and enjoy a good night sleep ready for any meeting the next day,” noted Paul Sies, bmi regional’s CCO. “Of course, all customers flying with bmi regional benefit from our ‘bags fly free policy’, our complimentary full bar, as well as our free breakfast and bistro service on board.”
bmi regional operates an all-jet Embraer fleet.
