bmi regional has added seven new routes to its network as part of a growing codeshare partnership with Brussels Airlines.
The codeshare agreement means passengers can now book flights to Brussels from London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Belfast and Nantes via the bmi regional sales channels.
This further strengthens therelationship between the two parties, which first agreed codeshares on two routes to Brussels – from East Midlands and Newcastle – in 2014.
Jochen Schnadt, bmi regional’s CCO, commented, “The extension of our codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines means that our passengers now have a range of new routes into Brussels. We are delighted to build on our existing collaboration, supporting both the airline and Belgium in accessing new audiences in the UK and beyond. Brussels Airlines and bmi regional share similar values, we are both business-powered, full-service airlines who put great store by customer convenience and delivering a quality experience.”
“We have developed over the last years a successful commercial and operational partnership with bmi regional and this extended codeshare cooperation is a logical next step,” continued Frederic Dechamps, VP commercial, Benelux, Europe and North-America, Brussels Airlines. “This collaboration is once more an illustration of the importance we give to the UK in our growing network. We look forward to welcoming the bmi regional clients on board our Brussels Airlines services.”
