Blue Air has begun operating its second service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) with twice-weekly flights to the city of Bacau in north-east Romania.
The new service comes just over three months after Blue Air commenced operations at LJLA with three times weekly flights to the Romanian capital of Bucharest in December 2014.
Situated in the historical region of Moldavia, at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, Bacau is one of Romania’s cultural centres with a state theatre, museums and a symphony orchestra.
