JetBlue Airways has signed a new agreement with Barfield, AFI KLM E&M's North American subsidiary, which covers component repairs on a flight-hour basis, plus component engineering and logistics support for the carrier's 130 A320s and 25 A321s, thus extending a 10-year working relationship between the two companies.
Tony Lowery, JetBlue’s VP technical operations, commented, “Barfield and JetBlue have a long-standing beneficial relationship. We are pleased to renew this partnership to support our growth as an airline. For the past ten years, Barfield has shown that it can deliver appropriate competitive solutions and this is again the case today with this new contract."
