Baden-Baden to be Ryanair’s 47th base

Ryanair is to open its 47th base at Baden-Baden (Karlsruhe) airport in March 2012 with two based aircraft and more routes, which the airline says should deliver more than 800,000 passengers a year to the airport and sustain 800 jobs in the Baden region.

In addition to Ryanair’s existing 12 Baden-Baden routes Ryanair will open 7 new routes to Faro, Malaga, Palma, Riga, Thessaloniki, Vilnius and Zadar.

The existing destinations from Baden-Baden are Alicante, Bari, Cagliari, Gran Canaria, Girona, Lanzarote, London Stansted, Porto, Rome, Tenerife Sth, Trapani and Stockholm Skavsta.
