BA to increase frequency on London City–Angers route for summer 2016

tFollowing the launch of a seasonal route between London City and Angers in May 2012, British Airways (BA) now plans to double the frequency of the service from twice weekly to four times weekly for summer 2016.ttThe additional flights to Angers are part of an enhanced British Airways schedule to France direct from the Docklands next year. The airline's 2016 summer schedule will begin on 28 March with two flights a week before increasing to three a week in May and four a week in June, July and August.ttBA will also start flying from London City to Bergerac four times a week from May 2016 through to September 2016 as well as adding extra three flights a week to Nice and an extra Saturday flight to Quimper during the peak summer months.ttLuke Hayhoe, British Airways’ general manager of commercial for London City Airport, averred, “With quick and convenient flights from London City Airport, France is one of the most popular countries that our customers want to visit. So we are delighted to add new destinations, extra flights and improved schedules for next summer.”
