Aircraft lessor, AWAS, has delivered a Boeing 737-300 to Mexican, low-fare airline VivaAerobus.
Based in Monterrey, VivaAerobus operates an all-737 fleet offering both intra-Mexico and international flights. Juan Carlos Zuazua, the airline’s CEO commented, “We are very happy to receive this excellent aircraft from AWAS, and to begin what we hope will be a long and profitable relationship with them. This 737 will assist us with our fleet expansion plans, and will be used as part of our domestic network to offer more choices and superior service to customers in and out of Mexico City.”
“VivaAerobus is a successful and growing regional, ultra low-cost carrier and we are proud to have them join us as a customer,” remarked Ray Sisson, president & CEO of AWAS. “We look forward to continuing to build upon our relationship, helping them to drive growth well into the future.”
