Labinal Power Systems has been selected by AVIC Aircraft Xi’an Branch to help deliver the main and auxiliary electrical generation system of the MA700 turboprop.
Wang Chengkuan, vice-president of AVIC Aircraft Xi’an Branch and Alain Sauret, chairman and CEO of Labinal Power Systems signed Letter Of Intent (LoI) preparing co-operation on the systems during the Zhuhai Airshow. The parties have committed to work on the joint definition phase for the systems.
“After the MA60, we are very proud to continue our journey with AVIC on the MA700. The link between AVIC and Safran is strategic and key for our future success,” declared Alain Sauret, CEO of Labinal Power Systems.
“The signing ceremony [notes] that both parties have deepened the co-operation on civil aircraft. We believe that with the continuous support from Safran and Labinal Power System, it will be beneficial for our company to achieve business success on the MA700 programme,” added Wang.
