Atlasglobal Airlines, formerly known as Atlasjet Airlines, has extended its contract with MTU Maintenance, which means the latter will continue to provide the carrier with exclusive MRO services for its V2500 engines for the next five years.
MTU Maintenance first provided Atlasglobal with MRO services for the V2500 engines on its fleet of Airbus A320-200 and A321-200 aircraft in 2006. Since then, the contract has continuously expanded to include additional engines and services, such as spare engine support and MTUPlus engine trend monitoring.
Atlasglobal now operates a fleet of 22 narrow-body Airbus aircraft.
