April stats show strong growth for Volaris

tVolaris has reported a load factor increase of 1.8 percentage points from 81.4% in April 2015 to 83.2% in April 2016. ttThe carrier increased its available seat miles (ASMs) by 15.8% year-over-year from 1,097,000,000 in April 2015 to 1,271,000,000 for April 2016. Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) grew by 18.3% from 894,000,000 to 1,058,000 across the same respective period. Volaris transported a total of 1.1 million passengers during the month, an increase of 21.1% year-over-year.ttVolaris’ RPMs have grown by 31.1% from 3,329,000,000 for the four months to April 2015 to 4,364,000,000 for the four months to April 2016, against a 24.7% in ASMs from 4,140,000,000 to 5,162,000,000. This means a load factor increase of 4.1 percentage points year-over-year.ttPassenger numbers for the first four months of the year have grown by 32.4% from 3,444,000 in 2015 to 4,560,000 in 2016.
