American Eagle Airlines will begin daily nonstop service between Durango La-Plata County Airport in Colorado and Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) on 9 June.
"We are pleased to introduce daily jet service to Durango from our largest hub, Dallas/Fort Worth," remarked Gary Foss, vice-president of marketing and planning for American’s regional network. "Whether it’s world-class skiing in the winter or exploring the magnificent San Juan Mountains in the summer, visitors from around the world will have greater access to Southwest Colorado."
Eagle will fly one daily round trip with 50-seat Embraer ERJ 145s. Flights will take off from Dallas/Fort Worth at 09:25 and land in Durango at 10:25, while the return service departs Durango at 11:00 and reaches DFW at 13:55 (all times local).
