American Eagle and Executive Airlines traffic reported for July 2011

American Eagle Airlines has reported July 2011 traffic figures for itself and it wholly-owned subsidiary Executive Airlines.

American Eagle’s revenue passenger miles rose by 17.1% to 856,656,000 from 731,499,000 in July 2010. Available seat miles (ASMs) were up at 1,080,748,000 from 942,542,000, a 14.7% increase.

Eagle’s load factor was 1.7 percentage points better in July 2001 at 79.3% compared with 77.6% in July 2010. The airline carried 1,612,063 passengers in July, an increase of 12.6% over last July’s figure of 1,432,079.

Executive’s RPMs totalled 49,007,000 in July, a fall of 4.8% compared with July 2010’s 51,504,000. ASMs were cut by 10.4% though to 77,286,000 from 86,276,000. So the load factor increased to 63.4%, which was 3.7 pp better than July 2010’s figure of 59.7%. During July, Executive carried 245,872 passengers, a decrease of 8.3% compared with the 268,033 passengers carried last July.
