American Eagle and Executive Airlines October traffic reported

American Eagle Airlines has reported October traffic figures for itself and its Executive Airlines subsidiary.

Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for Eagle reached 759,905,000, a 19.4% increase over October 2009’s figure of 636,608,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased by 16.3% to 989,395,000 from 850,461,000.

The load factor for the month was 76.8%, up by 1.9 percentage points from last October’s 74.9%. During the month the airline carried 1,499,350 passengers, 2.6% more than the 1,461,252 carried in the same month last year.

RPMs in October 2010 for Executive Airlines rose by 2.4% to 44,551,000 from 43,499,000 last October. ASMs were increased slightly, by 0.5%, to 77,349,000 from 76,953,000.

Executive’s load factor in October was 57.6%, up by 1.1 pp over last October’s figure of 56.5%. Passengers carried totalled 232,767, compared with 225,136 in October 2009, a 3.4% increase.
