Allegiant, which just over a week ago announced Savannah/Hilton Head as a new seasonal destination from Cincinnati (CVG) with flights originally scheduled to end in August, has decided to extend the season until 11 October.
“Allegiant has been very pleased with the Cincinnati area's enthusiastic response to our new Hilton Head flights,” reported Jude Bricker, Allegiant Travel Company senior vice-president of planning. “We’re certain local travellers will appreciate the extension of this already-popular service.”
The new seasonal flights will depart twice weekly beginning on 8 May and, as stated, will now operate until 11 October 2015.
Allegiant began service from Cincinnati just over a year ago with four weekly flights to two destinations. This summer, Allegiant will fly over 38 weekly flights to 10 destinations, more destinations than any other low-fare airline from CVG, making it one of the fastest growing markets in Allegiant's 16-year history.
