2016 will see Allegiant begin flying 19 new routes, incorporating three new cities into its network including Washington/Baltimore; Destin, Florida; and El Paso, Texas.
Six of the new routes will fly nonstop to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Services from Savannah in Georgia and Cincinnati will both begin on 29 April 2016, followed by flights from Tulsa, Oklahoma and Asheville, North Carolina on 19 May 2016. On 20 May 2016, Allegiant will begin flying from Knoxville, Tennessee to BWI, and from Lexington, Kentucky as of 3 June 2016.
The carrier is also introducing new nonstop flights to Hilton Head International Airport in Savannah from Indianapolis and Pittsburgh as of 8 April 2016, from Baltimore on 29 April 2016 and from Lexington, Kentucky from 2 June 2016.
On 20 May 2016, Allegiant will begin operating a seasonal service to Florida’s Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) which will end on 5 September 2016. The airline will also fly to VPS year-round from Cincinnati as of 2 June 2016.
Allegiant will also operate nonstop flights from El Paso, Texas and Knoxville, Tennessee to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport from 6 May and 13 May 2016 respectively. Elsewhere, nonstop services to San Diego International Airport from Stockton, California and El Paso, Texas will begin on 7 April and May 6 2016 respectively.
The airline will fly from New Orleans to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) from 14 April 2016 and from Memphis, Tennessee and Richmond Virginia to JAX from 15 April 1016. Finally, Allegiant will operate a nonstop Service to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport from New Orleans as of June 3 2016.
