Allegiant has announced 14 new routes, including the addition to its network of five new cities – Pittsburgh, PA; Indianapolis, IN; Omaha, NE; Richmond, VA; and Jacksonville, FL.
"We are extremely pleased to announce this expansion and bring new convenient, low-cost vacation options to five new communities, as well as new destination options for those communities we currently serve," declared Jude Bricker, Allegiant Travel Company senior vice-president of planning. "Allegiant is dedicated to making vacations more affordable for more people, offering travellers the lowest possible base fare and the best deals on vacation packages."
The new routes, with their 2015 starting dates in parentheses are: Fort Lauderdale Hollywood (FLL) to Syracuse, NY (13 Feb) and FLL–Columbus, OH (13 March); Jacksonville International (JAX) to Cincinnati, OH (12 Feb) and JAX–Pittsburgh, PA (13 Feb); Las Vegas McCarran (LAS) to Indianapolis, IN (27 Feb); Orlando Sanford International (SFB) to Indianapolis, IN (12 Feb) and SFB–Austin, TX (13 Feb); Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) to Indianapolis, IN (11 Feb) and PGD–Pittsburgh, PA (12 Feb); St Petersburg/Clearwater International (PIE) to Pittsburgh, PA (11 Feb), PIE–Indianapolis, IN (12 Feb), PIE–Richmond, VA (13 Feb), PIE–Hagerstown, MD (27 Feb); and PIE–Omaha, NE (5 March).
