Kunming Airlines of China is to receive two new Boeing 737-800s on long term lease placements from Air Lease Corporation (ALC).
The aircraft, which will come from ALC’s orderbook with Boeing, are scheduled for delivery in 2015.
“We are pleased to announce this strategic lease placement with Kunming Airlines, an important new customer for ALC in China,” said Jie Chen, executive VP and managing director for ALC in Asia. “Kunming has been steadily increasing and modernising its fleet to meet regional traffic demands, and we have worked closely with the operator’s management team to provide new and efficient aircraft to optimise their future fleet.”
