Air Lease Corporation (ALC) has signed lease agreements for 25 additional aircraft, including ATR turboprops and Embraer 190s.
TRIP Linhas Aereas of Brazil and ALC have entered into long-term lease agreements for six new ATR 72-600s and six new Embraer 190LRs, delivering between July 2011 and October 2012.
ALC is also leasing four new Embraer 190s to Bulgaria Air. Deliveries of these are set for March, April, June, and November 2012.
“ALC is focused on providing innovative fleet solutions for airlines around the world. We are proud to offer a young fleet of aircraft that maximises operating efficiencies for each customer’s unique needs,” remarked Kishore Korde, senior vice-president of ALC.
The other leases announced were one Airbus A330-300 to Asiana Airlines, and Airbus A330-200 to Garuda Indonesia Airlines and a long-term lease on a Boeing 737-800 – already delivered – to Caribbean Airlines.
