Alaska announces two new services from Orange County

From 16 March, 2016, Alaska Airlines will begin operating daily return flights from Orange County, California to both Santa Rosa/Sonoma County in California and Reno/Tahoe in Nevada.tBoth routes will be operated by Horizon Air using 76-seat Q400 aircraft. The Orange County–Santa Rosa flights will take off from Orange County at 12:15, arriving in Santa Rosa at 13:46. The return leg will leave Santa Rosa at 12:40, landing back in Orange County at 14:11.ttThe Reno–Orange County route will leave the former at 10:15, reaching Orange County at 11:37. The flights back to the latter destination will depart Orange County at 14:45, touching down in Reno at 16:05.tt“These new routes will bring low fares and an elevated flight experience to our valued Los Angeles area customers,” stated John Kirby, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of capacity planning. “With the addition of Santa Rosa and Reno, Alaska will offer 13 peak daily departures to six destinations, including Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport.”
