Oman Air is to launch a new daily service between Muscat, the capital of Oman, and Al Ain, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on 3 May, using ATR 42-500 turboprops.
The introduction of Al Ain marks Oman Air’s 35th destination worldwide and its fourth in the UAE, the other three being Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah.
Peter Hill, Oman Air’s chief executive officer, remarked, “Al Ain is the fourth largest city in the United Arab Emirates and is often referred to as the ‘Garden City of the Gulf’. Oman Air’s daily flights between Muscat and Al Ain will give the residents of Al Ain a new opportunity to experience the outstanding services of Oman Air and, with this addition to our network, we are sure that many new markets will open up.”
