airBaltic has announced that it will start flights between Riga and the Hungarian capital city of Budapest on 16 May.
“airBaltic customers, when asked about preferred destinations in Central Europe, have always requested Budapest, and we are delighted to now open this new route to the charming city to connect it to destinations in Scandinavia, Russia and the CIS,” explained airBaltic chief commercial officer Tero Taskila.
airBaltic will operate the flights from Riga to Budapest four times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Passengers will board Bombardier Q400 aircraft for flights that will last 2 hr 15 min.
