airBaltic reports that it carried 238,453 passengers in March 2010, 36% more than in the same month in 2009, when it transported 175,539 passengers.
In March 2010, the number of passengers at the airline’s Riga base increased by 39% compared to the same period last year.
During the first three months of 2010, airBaltic boarded 624,191 passengers, 25% more than during the same period in 2009, when the total number of passengers was 500,161.
The airline’s load factor in March 2010 was at a level of 66%, 4 percentage points more than in March 2009. During the first three months of 2009 airline’s load factor was at a level of 62%, an increase of 2 pp more than in 1Q09.
