airBaltic carried 340,586 passengers in June 2010 from its bases in Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn, the first time in its history that the monthly passenger figure has exceeded 300,000.
The total is a 32% increase over June 2009, when airBaltic carried 258,051 passengers. In June this year, the number of passengers going through the Riga base increased by 31% over last June.
During the first half of the 2010, airBaltic transported 1,472,089 passengers, a 22% increase over the same period in 2009, when 1,205,231 passengers were carried.
The airline’s load factor in June 2010 was 72%, the same as June 2009. During 1H10, the load factor was 65%, again the same as in the respective period in 2009.
