From 2 September 2016, the AirAsia Group will open its AirAsia Premium Red Lounge at klia2 for complimentary use by Premium Flatbed and Premium Flex passengers.
The AirAsia Premium Red Lounge will offer 24-hour services and facilities such as buffet food, wireless internet, a lounge area, workstations, shower facilities and more.
Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, executive chairman for AirAsia Berhad and Group CEO for AirAsia X, remarked, “As the LCC pioneer in the region, we are determined to raise the bar for low-cost travel and maintain our position as the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline. The AirAsia Premium Red Lounge, one of the first LCC airline lounges in the world, is our commitment to creating exceptional value for our guests through innovative products and differentiated services.
“We receive a significant number of at least 5,000 transit guests per day who would find services such as the AirAsia Premium Red Lounge an added convenience and a plus point to their travelling experience,” added Datuk Kamarudin Meranun. “The lounge can accommodate up to 110 guests at any one time.”
The newly lounge spans a floor size of 302m2 and is also available to all other guests at RM79 per person.
