AirAsia gets rid of counter check-in at klia2

From 18 May 2016 onwards, all AirAsia and AirAsia X passengers travelling from Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2)will only be able to check in using the airline’s various self check-in options including web check-in, mobile check-in and kiosk check-in at the airport.
For AirAsia flights, both web and mobile check-in are available between 14 days and up to one hour before scheduled time of departure, while passengers on AirAsia X flights can do web or mobile check-in between 14 days and up to four hours before departure.
AirAsia’s Self Bag Tag offering allows passengers either to print their bag tags at home or at the kiosk at the airport.
Travellers who are pregnant, travelling with infants, have reduced mobility or require special needs, are aged 16 and below and travelling alone or have medical conditions or illnesses will be able to approach the dedicated service counter for assistance.
