Air Nostrum, operating as Iberia Regional, has begun a new route connecting – for the first time in scheduled operation – Biarritz and Madrid.
The service, which will be daily except Saturday, will depart Madrid-Barajas Airport at 12:00 with the return from the Pyrenees-Atlantiques city taking off at 13:35. The route will link passengers from Biarritz with international and Spanish domestic flights from Madrid Airport. The route is designed to take advantage of those connections which are operated by IAG member airlines to 80 destinations.
Of the 3,300 passengers who have booked to fly in the coming months, 33% have booked connections via Terminal 4.
The service is being flown by Air Nostrum’s Bombardier CRJ1000s, the flight time being approximately one hour.
